Must say it looks great from the screenshots… I’m intrigued that you’re using a meld of KDE & Gnome (?)…. I’ve used both and others over the years.

In all for a 512 ram 8gig hard drive net-book net-runner proved the saying what you’re looking for is always the last place you look

Only thing i can suggest is to make a smaller iso geared towards net-bookk user by having just the gnome-panel verses the gnome desktopenvironmentnt and have some of the bulky programs listed as suggested packages perhaps scrips. though i know this distro imeantnt fobeginnersrs its just a suggestion.
