Blue Systems is the German company sponsoring Netrunner and other Free Software Projects such as kcm-gtk-config.
As part of a new partnership, Blue Systems is now also sponsor of MintKDE.
Netrunner and Mint will share their knowledge and expertise and both distributions joint forces on improving their respective KDE editions.
While Netrunner and Linux Mint KDE each offer a different user-experience, they’re built on the same technology, so any cooperation between the two distributions will have positive effects on both. The sponsorship allows Linux Mint to contract an additional full-time developer for the whole year of 2012.
