Dear All,

I am having error message on my desktop saying this :

" Could not start process Cannot talk to klauncher: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus securuty policy blocked the reply, the reply time out expired, or the network connection was broken …"

I have no idea what is happening.

Yesterday I installed :

sudo apt-get install build-essential

Was that command broken something in my system?

FYI, I am using PAE kernel:

Here is output of uname -a

Linux nadifa-HP-dv3 3.0.0-16-generic-pae #28-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 27 19:24:01 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I tried to boot to normal kernel, then remove the PAE kernel.

When booting to normal/generic kernel, no more error message.

I reinstalled the PAE kernel, but the above error message still appear

Please help and thanks for sorting out my problem
